So I was made in charge of figuring out what could work as a title and end credit sequence. I took a motion media class over the summer at SCAD and the experience I had gained from that class really helped me developed the ideas. I wanted to do them quick and fast because again, it's just about getting the rough idea of the concept down.
Title
So this is what I could come up with the title, a quickly designed double exposure, while I liked this idea, I felt it slowed down the implied movement of composition. So after talking to Emily we decided to just have the dove fly in front of the frame, revealing the title.
I hopefully will be able to re-purpose this idea of a double exposure with Sal being framed by the dove when I (probably) will be assigned to do posters for the film.
Credits
Here are the credits, we knew early on that the post credit scene should be Sal fixing and cleaning up the house, showing how he has grown as a person and is fixing up his life. I thought it would be a cool idea to have each chore/activity be vaguely related to the position that was on screen, but I am concerned that having some humor would detract from the message of finding hope and acceptance for people that are dealing with depression and drug addiction.
